Congratulations to Valerie Okonweze on the birth of Shanti in August.

The Sunday School Christmas Pageant will be during regular services on Sunday, December 20th, the 4th Sunday of Advent.

Please consider prayerfully how you might respond to God’s blessings as you share God’s gifts to you. Time and talent sheets and pledge forms have been sent to each member of St. Paul’s and can be returned next Sunday.

Our parking lot has been sealed and re-striped. The striping on the north side of the lot has been adjusted to reflect your helpful input regarding spacing issues. Consider using the center walkway in the lot for increased safety. The total project cost was $35,000. To date, $15,850 has been raised.

In an effort to integrate faces and names more intentionally, you are asked to put your first and last name on a self-adhesive nametag each week for the next four Sundays.

Advent Evenings begin Wednesday, December 2, with a pot luck supper served from 6 to 6:45 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  You are invited to bring a main course, salad, or dessert to share.  At 7 until 8:15 p.m., we’ll begin opening the Book of Faith for Advent.  The study of the language of faith (the language of Scripture) continues through December 16. Come and experience more fully the power of the scriptural Word in your life!

GREENING OF THE SANCTUARY will happen in two phases. Plan to stay for an hour or so  Sunday, December 13, and enjoy a time of working fellowship as we prepare a place for the coming One. On Saturday, December 19, we’ll gather at 9 a.m. to finish the transformation as we create and place fresh greens and ribbons.

WESTSIDE FOOD BANK donation barrels will be available during the season of Advent for donations of non-perishable foodstuffs.  The need is critical in these hard economic times.
