The Church of Sweden Choir will present a concert on Thursday, March 10, 7 p.m., at St. Paul’s. The suggested donation is $15 at the door, or $10 with a reservation at the parish office no later than March 8. The concert is sponsored by St. Erik’s Church (Church of Sweden Los Angeles), San Pedro.

The Choir of St Paul’s Church presents “A Choral Eucharist” this Sunday, June 6, 10 a.m.

In this year of confirmation, Susan Palo Cherwien’s reflections on CREDO: I Believe will be the framework for the music of
Praetorius, Kopylow, Chilcott, Ippolitof-Ivanov & Manz.

The Brass Ensemble from the Royal College of Music from Stockholm, Sweden, will perform at St. Paul’s on Wednesday, May 12, at 7 p.m., in association with the Church of Sweden, Los Angeles.

Dimitry Olevsky, violin, in recital with Pavel Gintov, piano. Wednesday, January 20, 8 p.m. The music of Franck, Ravel and Schubert will be features.

Advent Service of Lessons and Carols sung by St. Paul’s Choir, featuring music of Praetorius, J.S. Bach, Johann Franck, Paul Manz, and Bryan Kelley.

The Choir of St. Paul’s Church comes to the close of its 2008-09 season on Sunday, June 21 with a Choral Eucharist.  Singing favorite anthems from the past seasons of the church year interspersed with readings of scripture and the poetry of Susan Palo Cherwien, the choir will then be on summer hiatus until September.

We thank our director of music Barbara Hoffman and this ensemble of singers for their commitment to the weekly leadership of our communal song at St. Paul’s.
